Dear Sunlight Church Family,

Our church family gathers every year on Good Friday to remember the death of our Lord Jesus. We remember the suffering he endured and the death he died in our place. This year, as we are surrounded by suffering and darkness, it is especially important that we remember that our Lord walked this path before us and walks with us through our current circumstances.

I want to invite you to make plans for your family to join us for a very special Good Friday remembrance online at sunlightchurch.com. We encourage you to attend live one of two times on Facebook at 10 a.m. or 7 p.m. If you are unable to be with us live, the video will be available to stream throughout the day on YouTube as well.

As part of our service, we will celebrate communion together. In this sacrament, we sense our unity as the body of Christ, as well as our union with Jesus. In preparation, please have bread and wine or juice available. In the absence of bread, you might use a tortilla or a cracker — anything made with flour.

If you do not have these items available and live in Port Saint Lucie or Lake Worth, we can deliver them to your door the day before. Please submit your information to this form by Tue., April 7, at 8 p.m.

As always, we ask you to pray about who you might invite to attend this online service with you. Our goal is to bring a sense of hope into people’s lives and to connect them with the God who loves them and who walks with them through every trial.

In Christ,
Pastor Scott Vander Ploeg
